Clean and comfortable room, but really tiny bathroom. I was content with it but I bumped into everything.
Very pleasant and attentive staff
Only flaws: I heard my neighbors in the room far too much at night, so there was little soundproofing. I had to use earplugs. Also the shower head was in bad shape and there was no soap in the shower area. The bathtub was badly placed, wedged against the toilet seat, forcing me to step over it to get out in a contortion, at the risk of slipping (I'm old) on the wet floor of this bathtub. There was no solid point of support to help me operate this exit...
We received our room at 6 p.m. with a very good welcome. Once in the room, we were surprised by the view through the window: View of a concrete roof terrace equipped with air conditioning unit and hose and a view of the neighbors' windows, the room not being equipped with decorated curtains we had to draw the blackout curtains to be able to change and therefore turn on the lights in broad daylight. We returned to the bathroom, the finish of the earthenware needs to be redone with the edges of this earthenware made roughly by large white aluminum angles that are poorly cut and with sharp edges that are therefore dangerous. A smell coming from the floor drain invaded the bathroom. we had chosen this room for the whirlpool bath so, in the evening we wanted to take advantage after a long day of visiting Bordeaux and the surprise: The whirlpool bath was not working properly the bubble system was not working and the whirlpool system was making a unpleasant noise forcing us to stop it quickly and at the first filling of the black gray pieces its exit from the nozzles. So we had to empty it and refill it to enjoy it (not for long, because the smell was disturbing). Have, it is realized that when the neighbors used the water, we heard it from our bathroom. Disappointing stay on the sleeping side We saw that when the neighbors were using the water, we heard it from our bathroom. above the radiator in the room there was a trace of yellow and dry liquid that had not been removed disappointing stay

Close to the Bordeaux train station, a few mins walk to a lot of beautiful attractions, and with clean, comfortable rooms this hotel is a wonderful find for people traveling to Bordeaux. Pro tip: rooms in the rear of the hotel are quieter which was perfect for me. Also be aware that no eating is permitted in the rooms. Something I would have preferred to know beforehand since I’m immune- compromised and generally don’t eat in public during the pandemic. They do have a lovely breakfast room and outdoor terrace for eating however. Excellent hotel at a reasonable price.
The staff is really welcoming and friendly. At the end of November, the central heating was not on, we had an extra electric heater available but not plugged in when we arrived, so it was cold. The hot water is very very long in coming. Conclusion we were cold. It's a shame because the establishment is very good.

Good basic hotel especially for the price
Hospitality, cleanliness and decoration of the hotel: perfect; on the other hand, disappointment at the level of the room, basic, no shower door or shower screen, a neighbor who was on the phone until past 1 a.m. and who did not want to hang up, despite the intervention of the reception . A breakfast with the discovery of a slice of moldy sandwich bread, and small butters whose use-by date was exceeded by 1 week (Saturday morning) and 2 weeks (Sunday morning, after my report the day before!). the baguettes, not fresh. As for accessibility, we arrived when there were works on the tram track, which forced us to take a relay bus to reach Quinconces! Not practical and longer transport times to reach the central station.

I found it unfortunate that there was no double glazing in the windows to avoid hearing the noise of the TRAM or cars. The decoration of the room was very old fashioned. There was no proper blanket and the litter was not good at all. The walls are made of cigarette paper. and I'm not even talking about the state of the bathroom and the flush that leaked all night .... It lacks ease of access for people with reduced mobility.

Unfortunately the cleaning had not been done properly. Hair and body hair in the bedroom and the bathroom. WC not very clean. The hot water in the shower is not hot but lukewarm. The hand shower does not work. The mattress is very soft and would need to be changed! When we mentioned it on Sunday morning, the receptionist took note of our remarks but no commercial gesture on his part. Breakfast at 10.50 is very expensive given the benefits. We were room 17.

Great hotel. Warm, friendly, accommodating staff. Comfortable rooms. Very clean. Lovely breakfast, available from 5am for those getting early trains. We were able to leave our luggage for a few hours after checking out before catching our train.
-On arrival at the hotel: the ambient temperature inside the room was 35 degrees And there were no towels. -The next day it was impossible to be inside the room, the temperature inside the room was 40 degrees. -At the reception they were rude: they told me if it was hot and there was nothing they could do. Next time you should rent a room with air conditioning. He told me that in the building there were only 7 air-conditioned rooms. —During the night: we couldn't sleep because of the intense heat and because in front of the hotel there is work at the station and they made a lot of noise. -Honestly, it was an awful experience at a place that prides itself on comforting its customers. I think Hotel Regina should be honest and tell customers that in the hot season the rooms are very hot and you can't be there without air conditioning inside.

We were warmly welcomed and were informed on arrival we had been upgraded from the superior room to a larger room. The room was perfect and excellent value for money. We loved the quirks of the room, including the layout of the shower and having a fridge was great. We only stayed one night and would have liked to stay longer.

A nice warm welcome. A decent bed a big TV. The shower was not terrible because little hot water and complicated access. The hotel is convenient at the foot of the station for an early morning train departure. On the other hand, at night it is impossible to be in the dark because the curtains do not make it possible to hide the window facing a huge lampposts from the station. We had chosen a room without air conditioning because it was more economical, but we had no idea that it was a real oven! It is warmer in the bedroom than in the hallway or even outside in the midst of a historic heat wave. And the option of airing is quickly ruled out in view of the noise (properly isolated when the window is closed, it must be said) from the street just below. In short.. a mixed experience.
