Small hostel with good value for money. Simple and clean room, good bedding and quiet. Restaurant with very good quality cuisine made by the owner. The breakfast is well stocked. Smiling and helpful staff.

I chose this hotel mainly for its traditional cuisine restaurant but disappointment the restaurant is CLOSED ON SUNDAY EVENING and no information regarding this closure. Person at reception an SMS for the entry code. And finding a restaurant on a Sunday evening in the surrounding area is a sport. In addition, it was not possible to access the parking lot because no one from the hotel responded that evening!!! Room ok but bathroom tiny for our case. Quiet, good bedding and appreciable air conditioning with this heatwave. Light breakfast for the price

Short stay in this hostel, but everything was perfect, both in terms of food and the rooms, even if they could use some updating. Fortunately, they were also air-conditioned! A particular satisfaction with the service, but the kitchen deserves it too!

A lovely, character hotel in a village in the middle of the forest, but not far from the A71 autoroute. The rooms were clean and quirky. Perhaps the bathrooms could do with a little updating, and the ceilings are a bit low, but that's the nature of an old building. The dinner and breakfast were superb. We would stay again.

We stayed one night in this hotel and we were very happy to stay in this authentic French auberge. The room was a bit dated, but great bed and The food was great! Order the whole menu, because The Portions are small. Normally I can’t eat more than two courses. So I was sorry that I didn’nt order the whole menu.

The bathroom in the attic does not allow you to shower. In addition to the obligation to remain seated while we like to take showers standing up, the water pressure was very low. The hostel is noisy: permanent noises on the child's bed side (banging pipes?), doors slamming until very late, vibrations as soon as a vehicle passes in the street.

We were well received. The room was clean and the food was super good but quite expensive. One note though: my wife is diabetic and took a few sugar cubes with her after breakfast as she needs it sometimes during the day. By doing that she was looked at by the boss as if she were a thief... A few cubes of sugar... You should know that we spent 260 euros for one night and then we were looked at for these few cubes of sugar! ?!?

Hotel restaurant "A la Tête de Lard", with a predestined name as the owner tells it, located in La Ferté-Imbault in a small typical Sologne village on a human scale with a few shops that enliven the place. The Blanc Argent railway line, with its stop at La Ferté Imbault, also allows you to discover the region in a different way than on foot, by bike or by car.
Hotel with old-fashioned charm that I highly recommend! Perfect welcome, perfect cleanliness and very spacious rooms.
I had reserved a room on January 8 and when I arrived the hotel was closed; nobody was there! I called and waited for a quarter of an hour in the rain, but nothing happened. I left angry.

A perfect welcome, whether in the hotel or in the restaurant. Comfortable room, no perceptible noise during the night. Cuisine as hearty as it is delicious, very pleasant setting. All in a quiet little village with a visitable castle. The icing on the cake: free private parking and accept American Express. We had a great time at this establishment.
We are and the place was closed . We asked local people and it appeared that nobody was present. No door bell and the phone provided cut off no facilities to leave a message.

Disappointing welcome. They don't even answer your hello. The boss is very cold and does not make you want to come back. Restoration correct but very expensive but being the only ones in the town not too much choice.
