A simple country hotel. Good-sized, comfortable room and bathroom. Clean and well-maintained. Good choice of dishes in restaurant. Copious breakfast.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing too much trouble. A welcome overnight stay after a long days drive. Good in the restaurant was amazing too. Dog friendly in both room & restaurant which was great.

A quaint Auberge in a pretty village in a great location. Staff are very helpful and the dinner was very good. 8/10 for the staff, but a pot of a poky room overlooking the street.

We enjoyed our stay in Brittany. The team at the Logis Hôtel Restaurant La Croix Verte welcomed us. We slept well, the breakfast was pleasant and plentiful. We recommend this accommodation with pleasure.
Very kind staff, very good table. A mattress that you sink into and which is at the end of its journey. Unfortunately, there is a serious lack of soundproofing.

The room, bed and bathroom were good but the window lacked proper curtains we had to improvise to ensure people outside coudn't see in from the street. Very strange omission given accomodation otherwise was very good.
A comfortable hotel in a nice town, friendly staff and good service. Slightly old fashioned premises although the bedroom/shower room had recently been fully modernised.
Cons - Photos which do not reflect the room I had - Lights which flash constantly - Musty smell which does not go away even after opening the windows (VMC broken) - Old-fashioned room and more up to date - 1 only meal available for stopover evenings - Portions too small - Disastrous restaurant service (Poor customer care, nothing arrives at the table if you don't call the waitresses, whether for water or even the menu , long, very long wait for everything) Most - Good bedding - Friendly staff

Good welcome, good meal, good rest.
Access to the parking lot is very steep, our car is stuck on the ground! But the staff was more than very helpful. The room was quiet and comfortable with good reading lights. The WiFi code was behind the door.
Good value for money
Lovely hotel in a lovely little town. The young lady that welcomed us was so helpful, nothing was to much! whilst our Studio's deco was a little dated, it was very clean and extremely comfortable. I am travelling to the area again next month and will be staying there again!

Very high price per night (103€) for a studio room, very dilapidated shower cubicle. Buffet breakfast but nothing exceptional. Unsystematic room service, you are asked if you have to redo the room between the 2 nights?? For a 3* it's amazing.

Honestly, enjoyed every minute of my stay. As a Canadian there for work and speaking very limited French you guys were very accommodating and we made it work with a little help from Google Translate :)

Overall a pleasant stay. An establishment run by members of the same family with the help of a few employees. The atmosphere is professional and efficient, yet friendly and not lacking in humour. Just right. The rooms themselves are good and above all clean. The decor is simple in the understated genre. The studio I stayed in the first night was OK, a tad disappointing but clean, up a flight of stairs...interesting. On the other hand, the room that I inherited from my sister who was leaving for my second night spent in Bain, was great. Spacious, harmonious and of course very clean. Room 17. Immaculate. It is in fact a room equipped for people with disabilities .... or without, if it happens to be free. The restaurant, altogether disappointing for me. Definitely a very personal opinion. I much prefer the simple and authentic rather than the complicated and sophisticated which could pass for affected. Better is the 'Bon Bainais' and there is a lot of good in Bain de Bretagne. And it would be so fitting in the style of the hotel that the Legaud family should be proud of.

Despite the restaurant being closed in the evening, it was All Saints day and a holiday, we were given a very nice cold meal in our room. The room itself was good, breakfast fine, parking available.

I arrived late after a delayed crossing from jersey. I missed the last call for supper. The owner however catered for me so with arrival at 21.39 I had a hot meal waiting for me, that is service, caring and made me feel special. The bed and duvet were very comfortable and the hotel quiet. The rooms are not totally soundproof but if the ferry timetable remains the same, this will be by overnight stop on the way to the south of France.

Zero soundproofing, you can hear the cars passing by as well as the other guests in the rooms next door… moreover, the smells of cooking from the hotel restaurant go up into the rooms.
Breakfast was poor at our prearranged time there was no bread ! and only two pieces of cold meat left. After about ten minutes some bread rolls arrived.
France without bread is like Bordeaux without wine.
Too bad there is no air conditioning, especially in the middle of July, or at least a fan, it would have deserved 5 stars!
after the confirmation of my reservation we presented ourselves in front of the hotel, we rang for more than an hour and a half, we called from 10 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., no one picked up or opened the door for us. In a city without taxi, Uber or Blabla because at this hour imagine our hassle. we had to negotiate with a local resident who agreed to take us to reindeer to spend the night there in another hotel.
Accommodation in a "studio", a large room in fact, located in the annex of the hotel. Second floor without elevator with narrow staircase. Wifi not working. In the bathroom, shower door losing its seal and anemic flush

Very good communication before our arrival. Excellent welcome from the hotelier despite the late hour. We would have appreciated better soundproofing of the room, waking up at 8 a.m. to the noise of neighbors and not great corridors. The staff, food in restaurant & accommodation we're great. However, there was a lot of noise (people talking, laughing etc plus 'water' related noise - maybe the main water supply was by the side of our room?) until 4am the next morning so we did not have a good night's sleep and had a long journey the next day.
We did make the staff aware of this in the morning.
